Technical Architect - Azure

Remote. To £75K + bonus + benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Microsoft Gold Partner, who are mid-way through a highly ambitious growth journey. They've got loads going on, an interesting and diverse client base and present excellent opportunities for career progression.

The role can be based remotely, with travel to customer sites on occasion when required (customers are generally within the southern half of the UK). You'll be working on (and leading) some very exciting Cloud projects, working for a business that partners closely with Microsoft.

Technical Architect - Azure - duties

Close engagement with external customers to understand their business requirements
Creation of end-to-end solutions using Azure, including landing zones, migrations, optimisations
Developing technical roadmaps for Azure cloud implementations
Developing architectures and providing technical leadership
Providing deep subject matter expertise for technical inquiries on new and existing solutions
Supporting the pre-sales process by explaining technical solutions to new customers
Act as a technical lead and mentor to colleagues and provide thought leadership in cloud computing
Continuing to hone and develop your own technical skills and accreditations

Technical Architect - Azure - requirements

Strong knowledge of practical experience in Azure, including: Landing Zones, Security, Networking, Threat Protection, Sentinel, Defender, VM's, Storage, PaaS
Proven experience of on-premise to Cloud migrations
Knowledge of structured methodologies for implementing Cloud solutions
Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills
Certified or working towards recognised certifications, e.g. AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500
Any of the following would also be of benefit: SC-300, DP-203, MS-500, ITIL 4, Togaf
